Break out the Scotchguard

Why is it so fun to try on new shoes? Once you become an adult, feet rarely change sizes too much, so it is one part of your body that you can really depend on. You can amass HUGE collections of shoes, and still never have enough. Shoes are a wonderful accessory.

For the first time in over a year and a half, I bought myself some new shoes. My feet unfortunately have not fully recovered from pregnancy, (remember these babies?) and I have a feeling that they never will. I have grown an entire shoe size!! So, none of my shoes (or my clothes, for that matter) fit. I thought it would feel better to go get a few new pairs to spruce up my wardrobe. It felt SO good and now I have to show them to you. Here they are:

The classic browns; functional and formal.
The kick-around reds; comfy, casual, and very girly.

The sporty pinks; comfy, casual, KEDS. (Remember when we got a new pair of white keds at the beginning of every school year?) Keds have come a long way.And last but not least, the SILVER BULLETS; whimsical, totally unnecessary, but so fun that I couldn't resist. They even have a little heel. Love them. They remind me of my cute stylish little sister Grace.

Fun shoes!! And Katherine I saw you 4 weeks after Savannah was born and you were as skinny as before!! I love the Utah outfit, Savannah looks so cute in it.

You're right on about shoes Kath. I already have too many pairs but I have a very hard time resisting buying more. Yours are all so cute! Maybe you'll end up wearing the silver ones a ton just because they are fun :)

Gotta love the "body adjustment" time after a new baby. Seriously though, you looked amazing when I saw you in July!!

You kill me. In my opinion, you can't have enough metallic. I am probably so last season, but I don't care. I have a couple fun pair of metallic flats and I love them! Way to go on the shoe shopping.

It is so fun to see Savvy. SHe is darling and you are right, the grandma sweater is darling. I remember waiting months for favorite outfits to fit.

You are a trooper to finish up with work!
