I can't...

...bring myself to write up a big post about our trips to Hawaii, SLC, & San Diego.  They were all so fun.  Hawaii was glorious, as usual.  It rained some every day, but we didn't mind coming from dry Arizona.  T bought a new beautiful REAL Ukulele, not the tourist kind you pick up at the flea market.  We arranged for him to have a little lesson with the sweetest old Hawaiian musician, "Auntie Ipo."  It was one of the most memorable Hawaii experiences ever.

SLC was fast and fun to visit family and pick up Savannah, who didn't seem to miss us one tiny bit.  We rode the Trax train, which was thrilling for Savannah, and spent an all-too-short afternoon visiting my cousin Jayne and her two darling girls.  It was like watching the two of us palling around 25 years ago (or so).

San Diego was nice too!  We just drove down quick for a long weekend.  Savannah thought she saw Jesus on the beach.  He was an odd-looking character with a very full beard and a toga-ish thing on.  Fortunately he didn't hear her calling to him or see her in hot pursuit.  We swept her up and hurried away.  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.   Wish I had a picture.

Hi Katherine! I have never responded I don't think to your posts, but we check often to see what you guys are up to. This post ... however, deserves a comment! Daniel said I had to comment as we were rolling on the floor laughing at Savannah seeing Jesus at the beach! What a cute little girl you have! =)

Kath! Always love to read your blog! I got a little something from you this past week. How thoughtful! So darling! Thank you! I can't believe those are Jayne's girls! Does she really live in San Diego? Jealous! Good luck with the Uekelele--I have a real one too. They're super fun!
