We said goodbye to binky on Wednesday. It was an accident, really. It disappeared. We couldn't find it anywhere, and I LOOKED. This is the last picture of binky in action, taken Wednesday afternoon. She likes to turn on the space heater (that tall black thing) and sit in front of it until her cheeks turn pink. Don't worry, it never gets hot to the touch, just blows warm air.
No fanfair, no negotiating, no fussing. It was time. Goodbye binky.
I found it Thursday morning hiding in her closet, but DON'T TELL HER!!! So glad it was me that stumbled on it. :)

I think it is so hard to have to say good-bye to something our kids have had for so long. That actually sounds like a good strategy. Maybe I'll use that in the future. :)
