You'd have thought today was akin to Christmas!! Daddy's birthday (which was yesterday) was really exciting. We talked about candles all week and practiced the song at least a million times. After several conversations with Trevor about it, she concluded that Daddy did not need any pink candles on his cake. She sang it perfectly for him. No cake for our Daddy, just whopper pie. Yum.
Look at the excitement in those eyes and in her hands. (The pie was cold--ice cream--so she only carried it half way to the table.)
Sorry Trev. We only got pictures of Savannah on your birthday. Typical of parenthood, isn't that??
P.S. That is really my hump on my back, no funky camera angle-accident, no blow-up-in-the-shirt prank.
"Walk this way."

Sounds like the perfect birthday for Trevor with ice cream cake and no pink candles.
"What hump?"
hahahahahahah
Thanks so much for the consistent updates. It's so nice to see everyone.
Kath! Long time no see! But I feel a special kinship to you right now in my life because your walking twin and I hang out once a week at choir. It kills me how much you remind me of each other, so I try to shut up about it to Grace. Your girls are to die for! I love that easter pic! You could have that painted! Wow! Glad you're doing well. Could we go to lunch if you drop in town? Even for an hour!

Kath, I miss you! This post made me laugh. My children live for birthdays. Mostly it's the cake. We die over chocolate cake. I once discussed not having a cake at Ralph's birthday and Adri couldn't begin to imagine a birthday without cake, it can't be done. Kids really making getting older fun. Hope you are well. Love, cousin Jayne P. S. Happy day to T
