A whole lot of this

has been happening around here.  And quite frankly, I'm sick of it.  And I'm only 4 days in.  Ugh.

On the bright side, we just got home from a fantastic trip to Utah.  Some highlights:

She was trying to get the dog to join her in the shower and only made it half-way there herself.

Beads with Aunt Chelsea

Introducing another child to good old Boss Dog.  He is so gray now but still a good looking dog.  

A trip to Liberty Park, which I enjoy as much as Savannah does.

Picnic at the park and more rides.

Serious Warner cousin bonding.  S and Romney are exactly 1 month apart and at exactly the same stage in life.  And very much on the same wavelength generally.  This is the, "This is my taggie."/"This is my blankie." conversation.  They were very protective of each other's special "buddy."  

LOTS of Go Fish.  Daisy and Anna were ALWAYS up for a game of cards, even at the crack of dawn. See them all in their PJ's?  

Lots of Old Maid.  Bless the Stephenson girls' hearts.  I only had to play once or twice during the entire week.  A true vacation!!  Thank heaven for cousins.  I miss you all so much.

Oh that Romney.  Poor boy.  The ONLY boy.  7 girls, 1 boy.  Thank goodness for Truck, who stood in as a brother for him all week.  

A couple of puzzles. 

Fuzzy wind-blown hair.  She loved the cousins too.  So much action to be right in the middle of.  Doesn't she look satisfied with her vacation?

A little time at the lake.  

More bonding time on the porch swing.  We kept finding them out there.  Would have loved to have heard the conversation.  I'm sure it was classic.  Probably littered with bathroom words.  Savannah laughs at all of Romney's jokes.

Cascade Springs.  A little hidden gem in the mountains.
