And, it's a girl!! Yes, Trevor and I are expecting our first child in May. We are so excited! We have kept it a secret for a very long time. We thought it would be fun to wait to tell our families on Christmas Eve when we were all in SLC. They all claimed that they "knew", but we didn't think so! They were excited about how far along I am (20 weeks, this week). We had no big "reveal" planned so we didn't quite know how to tell everyone. At my family's house I accidentally left the ultrasound pictures in a folder out on the counter. I figured that no one would pay much attention as there was a lot of other mail and cards out there. But of course, my meticulous mother was tidying everything up and stumbled across them. She opened the folder and was so confused for a minute and then she realized what she was looking at. It was great! With Trevor's family we were all together for a few hours and I kept nudging him to tell everyone. In typical Trevor fashion, at a quiet moment he said, "Well, we're having a kid." I just about fell off the chair laughing. He has a way of keeping it simple!
We couldn't be more excited!!!
