The temperature during the past few days here in Virginia has reached the 90's. I am SO happy that I don't have to be pregnant through the summer!! I don't know how those of you who have done it, did it. No action for me as far as the baby goes. I think the baby finds her surroundings so totally posh that she has no interest in coming to see the bedroom that I have set up for her. I just can't seem to convince her of the sweet setup she has waiting for her, not to mention the summer wardrobe!!
I did get to see her this morning. I went to the doctor who couldn't tell if she was head up or head down. He sent me to get a little ultrasound done to be sure that she was still in the right spot. It was so amazing to see the details of her little face!! She has hair, and chubby cheeks, with full little lips. It gave me a little taste of seeing her. In a way it satisfied my impatience for a little while. I've seen a little glimpse of her and now I can wait a couple more days until I get to hold her. I am SO excited. I know that ultrasound pictures are difficult to see, but here is a picture that they printed of part of her face. Look at the left side. You can see her forehead at the top and her closed eye and little chubby cheek. On the right she is snuggled up snoozing comfortably on her soft pillow. The nose is weird in this picture, but you can see her lips (the two white lines). It looks like she is looking down a bit. Trevor says he can't see anything in this picture. He may be right. It was probably one of those "you had to be there" moments.

Kath, this is Dave. I'm going to have to side with Trevor on this one--there is no face in the picture.
Kath--I think those are all very persuasive arguments for your little girl to consider--I hope she gives in soon!!

You look great!! That is so fun that you got to see her in the ultrasound. I must say, that I too have a hard time determining anything in the picture. But I can think of multiple times when I have brought home ultrasounds pictures so excited to show everyone and no one sees quite what I do!! I guess you have to be at the ultrasound to know how great the pics are.

I, unlike everyone else, see what you are talking about in the picture. That may be because I had so many (Ashton was breech) that I got to be an expert at picking out the little features. Treasure those fun pictures!!

Trevor told me that he didn't see anything, but, I can definately see her little face and I really love her chubby cheek. It is so chubby and kissable. We can't wait, plus, you look fantastic.
