Animal Cruelty
We played with playdough for the first time today. I started things off with a bang by making a giraffe. (Because doesn't every baby obsessively LOVE giraffes???) "See my giraffe?" I said, as the giraffe's head and neck bent over and fell off. (I'm not much of a sculptor.) Once it started to collapse, I just smashed the whole thing on her tray. Oops. She was totally horrified (and in tears, I might add) that the giraffe had been reduced to a little orange puddle, and she wouldn't touch the playdough at all. Oh well.
Thankfully, her trusty plastic giraffe was right in her hand and she gave it a great big "mmmaaaa" kiss to remind herself that she still had it. What a relief.

I think that is hilarious because I remember the first time one of Sydney's friends killed an ant in front of her...she threw an absolute full on crying fit. It is amazing how they get things at such a young age. It looks like things are going quite well in Phoenix and I love the new house. Take care!
