Apology

Sorry for having disappeared for several weeks.  We've moved!!  Yes, moved again.  Just a few blocks away, but at least this time we have all of our own stuff, and are no longer in a retirement community.  (Thanks to T's Aunt and Uncle for letting us stay in their place for the summer until we found something!!)  Since I posted last we have been:

Swimming A LOT at T's other Aunt and Uncle's house:

Eating Oreo Cookies
And not really taking many pictures.

An update on Savannah:

She is 15 months, going on 16 YEARS.  She repeats everything I say, right down to "Oh Boy!!!" and I think I've even heard a "crap" come out of her mouth.  Sorry Mom and Dad.  I use the "c" word, but I am trying to limit my use in front of her.  She is no longer shy with strangers, she will talk to anyone and everyone willing to listen, including the checker at Costco and all 6 of the people waiting in line behind us.  She LOVES to be pretty in the mirror and thinks she is absolutely entitled to chew gum and carry car keys everywhere.  As I put her in the car I remind her that I will need the keys to drive and she hands them to me between the seats when I sit down, ALWAYS holding the CORRECT car key.  I seriously think she knows and some day plans to escape and start the car without me.  In my defense, I don't GIVE her gum.  She digs it out of my purse and RUNS as far away as she can to a quiet corner and chews as many pieces as possible, as fast as possible, wrappers and all.  She knows what packs of gum look like and manages to pull them out of any purse that might be available to her.  Taking the gum away is one of few things that really makes her sincerely angry with me.  She is seriously hilarious.

Oh my, Savannah sounds like so much fun!! She is absolutely adorable. We miss you guys so much. I am glad that you are now in your own place with all of your stuff, at least for a little while anyway.

Aren't girls just hilarious?? The little "girly" things start right from the beginning, don't they? Savannah is so cute!

Life sounds busy!! Did you guys buy a house or are you renting? I love your descriptions of Savannah-she sounds very much like a certain 2 year old I have in my own home...

And my kids LOVE gum too--they are always sneaking around trying to find some in my purse. I love it when I find them chewing it and then they sweetly ask "can I please have some gum?" Hmmmm, tricky little kidlets...

If that child isn't a chip off the old block, I don't know who else she is. She's looking and acting more and more like you, Kath. You are in for a GREAT ride! XOXOXO

I can think of a much worse "c" word. Don't worry, you are good mom, even if you use such horrible language.

She cracks me up. She is just like Pacee. We have gone through those exact stages. Handing the car keys to mom, talking to anyone who will listen and gum. Sad thing is we are still in the gum stage. I hope it ends soon for both of us. Talking, I am convinced that it will never end. It is non stop. We hope we can see that cute little girl soon!
