Birthday and odds and ends

Savannah had a birthday.  Hard to believe she is only 4, AND hard to believe she is already 4.  It just depends on the day.  :)

The friday before her birthday, we had a little BBQ party with a few friends.  Savannah insisted on streamers, because that's just what you do for birthdays.  I had to draw the line when she wanted a new "party dress."
Guess who lives in TX now??  Cara and Jackson.  HOORAY!!  I took this pic because VA looked so tiny next to Uncle Jackson.

Then on the real day we made calzones for dinner and they were so pretty (and equally as delicious).

Then Uncle Derek saved the day by bringing ANOTHER birthday cake so she could blow out candles on the official day too.    It was a three step process.  The letter "F" can only blow out so many candles at a time.

Then we opened a few gifts from us and the Grandparents.  Super exciting.

So far, HOURS and HOURS have been spent at play with our new toys.  Hooray!!!

Other than the birthday we have been:

Participating in this silliness (I think calling this a "graduation" is ridiculous.)  But her hat that she colored is cute.

We've spent some time on the boat.  Note: the boat is in gear.  Uncle Derek must really love a child to let them drive the boat.  About a millisecond after this picture she floored it.

But Uncle Derek had it all under control.

We are playing a lot of games and having nice cold things like smoothies while it is HOT outside.

Lots of general silliness.

And lots of time in the pool cooling off.

And most especially we are having a GREAT time having Aunt Cara and Uncle Jackson here thawing out (from Michigan).  We just can't get enough of having them living in Austin!
