5 things I have learned in the first two weeks of playing Mom:
1. Don't bother keeping the cute minky cover on the changing pad. Washing it twice a day isn't practical.
2. Babies have a LONG trajectory when properly gassed up and without a diaper on. (Sorry if too graphic. Savvy "shot" the door at 4 AM the other day. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. I almost woke Trevor up to come and see, but I didn't think he would find mustard-colored gunk dripping down the back of her bedroom door that funny at 4 AM. By the way, the door is at least 3 feet away from the changing table. :) )
3. It is prudent to make the swap from dirty to clean diaper at lightning speed. Babies know when it is time to release the floodgates. (see #2)
4. Yes, I will use all 234 diapers in the ginormous box from Costco. (see #1, 2 & 3)
5. Even babies can love going to Costco. (Trevor says, "That's my girl!!")
