I know what you're thinking.

Isn't Savannah a little young to be stealing and hiding?  That's what I thought, but apparently not.  She has found all of the little hiding spots in our house where she can escape to enjoy her stolen goods including entire packs of gum, (yes, the gum obsession lives on) the wireless keyboard for our computer, items from my makeup drawer, chapstick, pens, you name it.  While this kitchen cupboard is pretty good, it is in a high-traffic area, so it is used a little less often than my PITCH BLACK closet with the door firmly shut.  Many times I have walked into the bathroom just in time to see the closet door swing shut (pulled by the tie on my robe which conveniently hangs on the back of the door).  I call to her...no answer.  I open the door and am immediately met with a distraction technique..."mama...tubby!" (points across the room to the tub) or, "mama...shoe!!!"(discretely pick up a shoe as if that was the original reason for retreating to the dark closet.)    I know what you are thinking.  "Oh boy Katherine, you are really in for it on this one."  Yes, that's clear.  So let's change the subject.
