Here are some photos of our lives this past month:
Flew to Utah for a wedding. The wrong kid fell asleep on the plane.
Met our newest Winegar cousin, Adele, for the first time. Virginia couldn't stop hugging her. Seriously, Adele was so patient. She only cried after the 15th hug each time we saw her.
Adele and my Virginia. Think they are relatives???
Celebrated St. Patty's Day Grammy style: CUT-OUT COOKIES.
Buttercream goodness.
Did LOTS of wedding festivities/stuff including these decorations for the reception.
Visited IHC's new Informatics Center named after Gramps. The bust they made looks NOTHING like him. Okay, the bust is bald, other than that, NOTHING.
Luckily they have a copy of this great portrait that DOES look just like him, right down to his Sigma Chi ring. I love my Gramps.
Flew back to Austin, Grace flew in too. We did some Austin stuff. Here we are on the Zilker Zephyr.
And canoeing on Town Lake. (Austin is a SERIOUSLY cool place to visit & live.)
Laughed my guts out with Grace at Antoine Dodson for the 10,000th time.
(Hide your kids, hide your wives, and hide your husbands too...)
I'm still laughing about it, actually.
Had MANY park days as the weather has been 80 degrees since March 1.
Hung a new shelf in the kitchen. Does that mean I'm staying a while???
Random.
Got caught in the pantry at least 10 times per day perusing the jello flavors and different shapes of pasta that are at just the right height.
Celebrated a first birthday with our next-door neighbor, whom we LOVE to pieces. How cute are those party hats that her mother made??? VA loved hers.
Got way into Tangled. What's not to love about Pascal?
We have also added to our family. Okay, not really added, but we got a new car which only happens every 10 years or so for us. It's name is SMI. (Pronounced Smee.) SMI stands for "Shoot Me If..." Just take a wild guess what kind of car it is. C'mon, guess....
I'll just say this to all of my high school friends out there, minivan was number TWO on my S.M.I. list, behind only "wear socks with T-vas". But the thing is, I really, really, love this car. So, shoot me.

we LOVE antoine too. Our guts get busted every time we sing that song. Glad you guys are still alive :)
Oh man--weren't SMI lists made to be changed as we grew?! We were so smug back then...but totally awesome all the same ;) Yay for a new car!
The girls look cute and I'm so glad you are enjoying Texas. We need to get together sometime!
The bust really doesn't look anything like your Gramps. I love the pictures of V and Adele, they really do look so similar...
On my list was living anywhere north of Salt Lake. So much for SMI lists... and hooray for automatic doors!
