Yes. Back to work. I started back to work this past week and I must admit, I've been a little sad about it. It is really hard to drop Savvy off every morning and leave her for the day. I feel like I am just a wet-nurse and a taxi driver for her. Two friends in my ward are taking care of her. They are both stay-home moms with one other child. So, she is in excellent hands. I just hate that they are someone else's hands...Luckily I just have to work until Christmas. We'll survive.
When we were in SLC I had a friend's sister do a photo shoot with Savvy. The pictures are fantastic and if you are looking for someone to take pics she is wonderful. She just graduated from photography school in California and is back in SLC getting started. Check her out: Jamie Christensen.

First, darling pictures. Second, you can make it to Christmas, I promise. I know that it is so hard, but she will be okay. Fortunately it is harder on you than it is on her.
Hang in there Kath! When I leave my kids just one afternoon a week for work I think it's hard so I do not envy your position.
At least Savvy is there at the end of each day to greet you with her adorable little face--your pics are super sweet. How many will you be framing for work so you can show her off?!
