The little things

Savvy is learning to use her hands to touch. We have a book that we read together regularly that she seems to enjoy. Each page has a little piece of textured fabric to feel. At first when we read it, I picked up her hand and rubbed each page. On Sunday she started to reach out all by herself to touch. I about died! I called to Trevor to come and see. I love it! She especially loves this page, with sparkles on it. I think it is in her genes. The Warner girls all have what we refer to as a genetic disorder--that we cannot stop staring at sparkly things. I call it the Bling-Bling Gene. (We think we got it from my Mom's Mother.) I guess Savvy has it too. :)

The book is about monsters and where they hide. The last page is a mirror which she also gets a kick out of. She looks at me, then looks at herself. It's cute.
